We combine smart technology with hands-on human insight to deliver proactive, strategic benefits solutions. About the Role
We're looking for a Benefits Systems Administrator to manage the systems and data workflows that support client benefits administration. You'll manage employee benefit system updates across Rippling, Employee Navigator, and Gusto, troubleshoot all Vereo-supported benefits administration systems, and manage complex or newly introduced enrollment processes until Plan Coordinators are fully trained. This is a collaborative, hands-on systems role for someone who values accurate configuration work, is comfortable troubleshooting with appropriate support, and is interested in creating training materials that help the rest of the team grow into these systems alongside you.
This role is open to Remote candidates in the U.S.
As a remote team member, you’ll collaborate regularly with internal partners through virtual meetings, shared documentation, and clear communication. Vereo is committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the application and employment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain employee benefit system updates across Rippling, Employee Navigator, and Gusto
- Troubleshoot issues across all Vereo-supported benefits administration systems
- Manage complex or newly introduced enrollment processes until Plan Coordinators are fully trained
- Build Scribe guides and training materials to train Plan Coordinators on those enrollments over time
- Configure and test carrier feed (EDI) setups for new and existing groups, coordinating directly with carriers and vendors on approval timelines
- Maintain documentation on system configurations, feed mappings, and platform-specific processes
- Partner with Relationship Managers on system-related client questions and implementation timelines
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience with HRIS, benefits administration, or payroll platforms
- Direct experience with Employee Navigator and/or Gusto strongly preferred; Rippling experience a plus
- Ability to manage technical configuration work with appropriate support and strong attention to data accuracy
- Experience or interest in creating training documentation and supporting others as they learn new systems
What Sets You Apart
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems
- Experience with project management software (Asana) and CRM (Hubspot) a plus
- Working knowledge of EDI feed logic, carrier file structures, and troubleshooting integration errors
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise
- Experience with creating SOPs and training others
- Insurance license or willingness to obtain within 90 days
Why Join Vereo?
Join a firm that's building modern infrastructure into an industry that's historically been slow to change. You'll have real technical ownership over the systems that keep client operations running, with direct exposure to how benefits administration actually works end to end.
